GP practice website transformation
- Sector

- Client
- A GP practice

Overview
The challenge
The existing website mixed operational notices, clinical information and admin content on the same pages. Patients regularly phoned reception to ask questions the website was supposed to answer.
What we did
We audited the top thirty patient questions, restructured content around real tasks, and rebuilt the site on an accessible template the practice team could maintain themselves.
The solution
A calm, plain-English website with clear opening information, one-click access to the NHS App, and content blocks the team can update without technical support.
Outcome
Patient-facing content is now easier to find, easier to update and passes WCAG 2.2 AA. Reception time spent on repeat website queries fell noticeably in the first quarter.
